The Department of Family Medicine of Brown University and Memorial Hospital, in conjunction with our local East Bay Community Action Program and Women’s Care (a private OB/GYN office), is pleased to offer a Fellowship in Maternal and Child Health for qualified graduates of Family Medicine Programs.
The fellowship is designed for one or two years with a major emphasis on a community-oriented approach to inpatient and outpatient care of women and their children. Fellows in the two year program can obtain a Masters (MSc. or MPH) in Community Health at Brown University. The fellowship is intended for family physicians who desire intensive training in the areas of obstetrics and newborn care in order to maximize these skills for subsequent medical practice, and for those physicians interested in developing and researching coordinated MCH programs, especially for underserved populations.
